Visual Resources
Visual Supports are an EXTREMELY important and helpful tool for young children who are learning how to navigate their surroundings, communicate with others and understand the expectations of the world around them.
They can be an excellent learning tool to help children to understand commands or requests we give them input through visual images. In our district classrooms, visual supports are often used for ALL STUDENTS to help with expectations, routines, problem solving, communication and more. Visual supports can be picture images, words, actual objects or other items to represent directions, routines and verbal requests.
